Just Imagine

This was the digital art for my typography class assignment to do a specimen poster. I thought it would be cool to illustrate a child’s imagination and how they can use it to do things like blow bubbles that turn into fish.
For the girl, I used poser to pose the way I wanted the character to be and then I used it as reference/under painting only to make the work go faster on the deadline. There’s only a small percentage (under 10%) of the poser image that shows. It was just a basic kit character without clothes or hair. Check the links for more details and progression images.

Story/concept:
Remember when the world was so new and huge.
Everything was probable.
You could fly around the moon.
You could explore the rainforest.
You could breath underwater.
All you had to do was just imagine.
